Golu Kirana And General Store

Our place is called Golu Kirana And General Store and it is located near Manikchand Talab in Patna. Specifically, we are at the Bye Pass More in the Anisabad area. If you are standing in front of Delta Advertising, you can see our shop right across from there. It is a local kirana store where we keep all the essentials like grains, oils, spices, and some general items for the house. The Manikchand Talab is a nice spot nearby, though it gets quite crowded around the Bye Pass. The store itself is simple. We have the goods arranged in a way that we can find them quickly, though to an outsider it might look a bit cluttered. We have sacks of rice and wheat sitting on the floor. Patna can be quite humid, so we have to be careful about how we store things so they stay fresh. We don't have a computer system, so we do everything by hand in our notebooks. Most of the people who come here have been shopping with us for a long time. They know where we are and we know what they usually buy. We don't do any big promotions or sales. We just keep the shop open and sell things at the normal market rates. It is a steady way of life and we are happy to be part of the Anisabad community. Some days are long, but that is part of running a business like this.
