Ghanshyam Stores is tucked away in Raja Babu Ki Gali in Patna City. If you know the area, we are quite close to the Allahabad Bank. This part of Patna is always busy and the lanes are narrow, so things can get a bit hectic. We have been operating from this location for many years. It is a traditional kind of shop where we keep mostly groceries and daily necessities. The space is small, so we stack things up high to make room for everything. Sometimes it’s hard to find a specific jar of pickles or a bag of flour quickly, but we know where everything is kept. Neighbors come by for their daily supplies and stay for a few minutes to talk. That is just how it is in Patna City. We aren't looking to become a big supermarket or anything like that. We just want to make sure the local families can get their rice and pulses without traveling too far. The heat in the summers can be a lot, but we keep the fans going.
