You can find us in Indrapuri, near the Belal Masjid in Patna. Our small business is run from the home of Mrs. Nikhat Kausar and Mr. Reyaz Ahmad at house number A/39. We focus on multigrain foods, which means there is always a lot of mixing and weighing going on. The house often smells like toasted grains and flour. Since we are near the masjid, we hear the call to prayer throughout the day, which gives a nice rhythm to our work. It is a family-run kind of setup. We don't have a big factory floor, just a few rooms dedicated to the grains. We spend a lot of time cleaning the seeds and making sure the mixtures are just right. It is tedious work, but it keeps us busy. We don't use any fancy machinery, mostly just small grinders and manual packing. Sometimes the neighbors come by to see what we are making. We aren't trying to be a huge corporation; we just like making healthy food for the people around us. The street outside is usually busy with scooters and people walking to the market, so it never feels lonely. We keep our records in a simple notebook and try to keep up with the orders as they come in. It is just a small, honest effort to make something useful right here in our own neighborhood. That is how we operate every day.
