We have been running Elite Holidays Pvt Ltd from the Chandi Vyapar Bhawan for a good while now. Our office is on the 3rd floor, right there on Exhibition Road in Patna. If you know the area, you know how loud and crowded it gets during the day. We’ve gotten used to the noise of the traffic and the people downstairs. It is a simple place where we spend most of our time on the phone or looking at train and flight schedules. We aren’t some big, flashy agency with a glass front and uniform-wearing staff. It is just a few of us in a room filled with maps and ledgers. We try to keep things organized, but sometimes the paperwork piles up when it gets busy. People usually come in to ask about a trip they are planning for their family. We sit them down, offer some water, and just talk through the options. We don't have a scripted sales pitch. We just tell them what we know about the destinations. Sometimes the lift in the building doesn't work, so we have to walk up to the third floor, which is a bit of a workout. We’ve been at this address, 800001, for long enough that the local couriers know us by name. It is honest work and we enjoy the routine of it. We are usually here until the sun goes down, making sure all the bookings for the next day are set.
