Project Engineering

Project Engineering is based at House No. 56 on Road No. 6 in East Patel Nagar. We are quite close to the Gandhi Murti, so that is usually how people find us. We do a lot of technical work, mostly designing and figuring out how things should be built. The office is full of drawings and old blueprints that are starting to yellow at the edges. It’s not a very big space, and there are books everywhere. We spend a lot of time on the computer, but we still use pencils and scales quite a bit. It’s a quiet atmosphere for the most part, except when we are arguing about a specific measurement or a material choice. East Patel Nagar is a busy area, but our street is a bit tucked away. Sometimes we have to go out to sites to see how the construction is going. Those are long days, usually spent wearing dusty boots and helmets. We don’t really have a marketing team or anyone to make us look polished. We just do the engineering work that comes our way. Sometimes a project takes a few weeks, and others go on for months. We deal with a lot of local contractors and builders. It is about getting the numbers right so the building stays up. There’s no magic to it, just a lot of checking and re-checking our work. We enjoy the local food stalls nearby during our lunch breaks.
