Due North Academics

Our place is at number 45, right by the Childrens Park on Boring Road. It’s a well-known area in Patna, especially since we are directly opposite the S K Puri Post Office. Having the park nearby is nice because you can see the trees, though the noise from Boring Road never really stops. We have a couple of rooms where we set up tables and chairs for everyone. The floors are tiled and we have to sweep them often because of the dust that blows in from the street. We aren’t a massive organization with hundreds of employees. It’s just a small group of us who handle everything from the cleaning to the actual work. Usually, the mornings are quiet until the afternoon rush starts. We’ve got some posters on the walls and a clock that’s about five minutes fast, but we haven't bothered to fix it yet. People come in and out all day. Some stay for an hour, some stay much longer. We try to keep a few extra pens around because someone always loses theirs. It’s a bit of a lived-in space, not like those cold offices you see in movies. We like being in this part of Patna because everything is close by. If we need something from the post office, we just walk across the road. It’s a basic setup that suits us just fine.
