Our office is at 2M-51 in the Bhadur Pur Housing Colony. It’s a bit of a maze back here in Gandhi Nagar. Most people know the Kankar Bagh area pretty well, but finding the specific house number can take a minute. We have a small sign out front. Inside, it’s mostly shelves filled with bottles and containers for the crops. We don’t have any air conditioning, just a big ceiling fan that wobbles a little when it’s on high. It gets quite warm in the summer months. We spend a lot of time talking to local farmers who come by. They usually have questions about their soil or bugs eating their plants. We keep a lot of ledger books on the desk to track what goes out. It’s a practical place. We don’t use computers for everything because the old way still works fine for us. Sometimes the neighbors’ kids are playing cricket right outside our door. You have to watch your step when you come in. We’ve been part of this housing colony for a long time. It feels more like a home than a corporate building. We just do our work and go home when the sun goes down. It’s a quiet life most of the time unless a big shipment arrives. We usually have the radio playing in the background to keep things lively while we work.
