Abhishek Electricals

Abhishek Electricals has been at Digha Ghat for a good amount of time. If you know the area, you know it gets pretty busy down by the water. We set up here because it's a central spot for people living nearby. Our shop is full of wires, bulbs, switches, and all the usual things people need when something breaks at home. It’s not a big showroom or anything like that. It’s a practical space. We keep a lot of stock piled up, so sometimes you have to wait a minute while we find the right fuse or a specific length of wire in the back. The walls are lined with boxes and it might look a bit messy to someone coming in for the first time, but it works for us. We see a lot of the same faces every week, mostly local guys doing repairs or neighbors needing a new light fixture. We don't do much talking besides what's necessary to get the job done, but we're friendly enough. The humidity from the river can make things a bit sticky in the summer, but we've got a fan going. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop around, just the one that’s open when you need a part. It’s a simple life here at the ghat, just selling electrical bits and making sure we have what people ask for. Come find us whenever you're in the neighborhood.
