Boring Canal Road is famous for its traffic and the many shops that line the street. Our hospital is located in a building called Nagendra Niwas, right on the first floor. Because we focus on diabetes and kidney issues, we see a lot of regular patients who come in for dialysis. This means we get to know people pretty well. It isn't a cold, corporate environment. The waiting area often has people chatting with each other while they wait for their appointments. The space is a bit cramped sometimes because we have a lot of medical equipment for the dialysis, but we make it work. The walls have some charts on them and there are always stacks of files on the desks. Patna is a very crowded city, and our location reflects that.
