We set up our office on Ramjaipal Path, which is pretty close to the Dental College over in the Danapur Cantt area of Patna. It’s a busy street with people always coming and going. Here at Sam Security and Manpower Services, our days are filled with people looking for work and clients needing help. It’s not a quiet place. We have folks sitting in the waiting area most mornings, waiting to talk about jobs. Patna can be quite loud and dusty, especially around here, but we’ve got a good spot. The office is simple, just some chairs and old wooden desks. We spend a lot of time on the phone or talking to the guards we send out. It’s practical work. We don't use big fancy words to describe what we do. We just find people who need work and put them where they are needed. Sometimes it gets stressful when someone doesn't show up or a client calls last minute, but that’s just the nature of the business. We know the local streets well and most of the people around Danapur. It’s a tight-knit community in some ways. We take our tea breaks together when there's a gap in the schedule. It feels like a small family business even though we have a lot of people on the books. We just keep things moving one day at a time without too much fuss or ceremony.
