Deepak General Store

My name is Deepak and I’ve been running this shop on Kankarbagh Main Road for quite a while now. We are located right near the Chiraiyatand Flyover, so it’s easy for people to spot us when they are heading home or going towards the station. It’s just a regular general store where we keep all the daily stuff like flour, rice, pulses, and soaps. I try to keep the shelves stocked because I know how annoying it is when you need something for cooking and the shop is out of it. Most of the people living around here in Patna know me by name. We open early in the morning because that is when the milk and bread arrive. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded in the evenings when everyone is coming back from work, but we manage. The flyover makes it a bit noisy outside, but inside we just focus on getting customers what they need quickly. I don’t have a big team, just a couple of us helping out. We don’t do anything fancy, just plain old retail. If you live nearby or are passing through Kankarbagh, you have probably seen our sign. It’s a simple life running a store, but it keeps us busy and connected to the neighborhood. We’ve seen the roads change and the traffic grow over the years, but the shop stays pretty much the same. Just everyday items for everyday people. We like being a part of this busy area here in Patna.
