We are situated just west of the Sardar Hostel in the Bhikhna Pahari area. It's a busy part of town with a lot of students and local residents moving about all day. Our shop, Deco India, has been part of this neighborhood for some time now. We deal with various decoration items and things you might need to spruce up a space for an event. The shop isn't very large, so we have things stacked up pretty high on the walls. When you walk in, you'll see a bit of everything scattered around. We don't really follow a strict corporate schedule; we open up in the morning and stay until the evening rush dies down. It's a bit of a walk from the main road, but most people in Bhikhna Pahari know the landmark of the hostel. We handle a lot of small orders for local festivals and house parties. It can get a bit cluttered inside, especially when new stock arrives and we haven't found a place for it yet. We aren't designers with fancy degrees; we just know what looks okay and what people usually ask for when they have a celebration at home. Sometimes we're out helping with a setup, so the shop might be run by just one person for a few hours. It’s a modest operation, nothing too flashy. We just keep going, day by day, serving the folks who live and study around here. It's simple work that we've done for years.
