Dangi Honey Products Private Limited

Our business, Dangi Honey Products, is located in the Dangi Market, right near Walmi Gate Number 1. We are situated on N.H. 98 in Phulwari Sharif, Patna. Being right on the National Highway means there is always a lot of movement—lots of trucks and cars passing by all the time. It’s a good spot for people to stop in if they are traveling. We work with honey, which is a sticky and slow business sometimes. We have to deal with the seasons and the bees, which isn't always predictable. Our shop in the market is where we keep the stock and talk to our customers. It’s not a big polished showroom. It’s just a place with jars and some chairs for people to sit. Sometimes the heat in Patna makes it tough to work, but the honey stays good. We’ve been here for a while and have gotten to know the other shopkeepers in Dangi Market pretty well. We don't have a big corporate strategy or fancy slogans. We just try to get the best honey we can and sell it at a fair price to whoever comes through the door. Most of our day is spent cleaning jars or talking to the folks who bring us the honey from the hives. It’s a lot of manual work, but we like being part of the market life.
