Cake At Home

Cake At Home started right in our own kitchen here in Jai Nagar Colony. We are located near Sangeet Ghar in the Danapur Bazar area. It isn't a big commercial bakery with huge ovens and storefront windows. It is literally just us making cakes at home for people in the neighborhood. We spend a lot of our time measuring flour, cracking eggs, and waiting for things to bake. The smell of sugar and vanilla is always around the house. We don't have a team of chefs or a marketing department. It’s just family members helping out when things get busy with orders. Most people hear about us from their friends or neighbors in Danapur. We take orders for birthdays, anniversaries, or just when someone wants something sweet for tea. Sometimes the kitchen gets a bit messy and we run out of space for all the boxes, but we manage somehow. Being in Jai Nagar Colony is nice because it is a quiet spot, but close enough to the bazaar for us to get our supplies whenever we run out. We don't use any fancy preservatives or factory methods. Everything is done by hand in small batches just like you would do for your own family. It’s a lot of work, but we enjoy the process of making something from scratch right where we live. Each cake is a bit different because we don't use big machines.
