We started at the Popular Warehouse over on New Bypass Road in Patna quite some time back. If you know the area, you know how busy it gets right across from Krishna Niketan School. During the mornings when the school buses are lining up and the traffic on the bypass is moving, things get pretty loud around here. We’ve got our office tucked into the warehouse complex. It’s not fancy or anything, just a lot of concrete and some desks where we keep track of everything. Some of us have been working here since the road wasn't even this wide. We see the same tea stall guys every morning. It’s a dusty part of town but we’re used to it. Sometimes the rain makes the entrance a bit of a mess, but that’s just how things go in this part of Patna-7. We spend most of our days just dealing with the trucks coming in and out and making sure the paperwork doesn’t get lost in the shuffle. It is a lot of manual work and checking lists over and over. You won't find any shiny lobbies here, just people getting through their shifts and maybe complaining about the heat in the summer months. It’s a straightforward spot to work. We just keep our heads down and handle the daily load that comes through the gates. The building is old but it stays standing.
