Our office is in the Jagat Trade Centre on Fraser Road in Patna. We’re Crossroad Logistics Pvt Ltd, located in suite 709. M S Alam is the person who runs things here. It’s a central spot in Patna, so there’s always a lot of noise from the street below. Being on the 7th floor gives us a bit of a view of the city, but mostly we’re just looking at screens and folders. Logistics is a lot of paperwork and phone calls. We deal with people from all over India. The trade centre is an old building, and sometimes the elevator doesn't work right and we have to walk up all those stairs. That’s just part of the charm, I suppose. We aren't a huge team. We know each other well. We handle shipping and moving goods. It’s practical, everyday work. We don't use a lot of big words or have fancy meetings. We just talk about where the trucks are and how to get things delivered on time. Sometimes the monsoon makes everything difficult, especially with the roads in Bihar getting flooded. We just deal with it as it comes. It’s a straightforward business. We show up in the morning, do what needs to be done, and try to keep things organized despite the chaos of the city outside our windows. That's life for us at the Jagat Trade Centre.
