Clat Gurukul

We are on the ground floor at 24-B, Sahdeo Mahto Marg in S.K. Puri. It’s right on Boring Road in Patna, which is always full of life. Being beside Bikaner Sweets is a bit of a problem because the smell of samosas and jalebis always makes us hungry. Clat Gurukul is a pretty simple setup. We have a few rooms for classes and a small area where we keep our books and files. The floor is just plain tiles and the walls have some old posters. It’s a very functional space. We don't have a team of decorators. We just put in some sturdy tables and chairs and got to work. Patna can get very dusty, so we are always cleaning the desks. The noise from Boring Road is constant, but it becomes like background music after a while. We don't have a polished corporate voice. We’re just local people running a place for students. Usually, there’s a stack of newspapers on the table and a half-empty water bottle somewhere. It’s real and a bit messy at times, especially when a lot of students are around. We don't do fancy presentations. It’s just us, some pens, and a lot of discussion. It’s a straightforward spot in a busy part of town. You can’t miss us if you’re heading towards Bikaner Sweets. We just focus on the syllabus and getting through the day’s tasks without any extra drama. It is what it is.
