We operate out of Mantanpura, which is over in the Badarjamin area of Saran near Patna. The office is at the late Deo Narayan Prasad’s place. It’s a quiet corner of the world, mostly residential with some small shops scattered around. We’ve been here for a bit now, just going about our daily business. The office is basically just a couple of rooms with some old wooden furniture and a few computers that have seen better days. We do the bookkeeping and handle the small-scale financial stuff for the people around here. It’s not a fast-paced environment. Usually, we have time to share a tea with someone who drops by. The streets outside can be a bit bumpy, and sometimes it takes a while for people from the city to find us, but we like it that way. We don't put much stock in being fancy. The paperwork takes up most of our time, and we try to be careful with the details. Most of us living and working here have been in the 841224 area our whole lives. We understand how things go in a place like this. There’s no big corporate ladder here, just a group of people trying to keep a small business running smoothly. We close up when the sun goes down and start again the next morning. It’s simple, honest work that keeps us busy throughout the week.
