Cancer Care Hospital

Cancer Care Hospital is located in Kankarbagh, right near the Bahadurpur Bridge. If you know that bridge, you know it’s a very busy part of town. There is always construction or traffic jams happening right outside our gates. The noise of horns honking is just part of the background music here. We have a two-story building that has seen a lot of use over the years. We spend our days managing the wards and talking to the people who come in from all over Kankarbagh. It’s a dusty area because of all the vehicles, so we are always wiping down the windows. The hospital isn't very big, but we make use of every inch of space we have. We have a small garden in the back that looks a bit dry during the summer months. The staff stays busy with the daily chores of keeping a hospital running. We don't have a lot of fancy technology in the lobby, just a TV that is usually tuned to the news. People often ask for directions because the Bahadurpur Bridge area can be confusing if you aren't from here. We just tell them to look for the big sign by the road. It’s a tough job sometimes, but we’ve got a good group of people working here who know the routine well. We have a tea stall just outside where we go for breaks.
