Bronwala Miscillinious Store

Bronwala Miscillinious Store is located over in Kadam Kuan. It’s a bit of a crowded spot in Patna but we manage. The name says miscellaneous because that is mostly what is here. A little bit of this and a little bit of that on the shelves. You might find a lightbulb or some thread or maybe some plastic tubs. I don’t keep everything organized perfectly but I know where most things are kept. The street outside in Kadamkuan stays loud with bikes and people walking to work. 800003 is the area code for this part of town. Sometimes I think the store is too small for everything I try to put inside it. The walls are painted a pale color that has faded over the years. I usually open up early before the sun gets too high. There is a small stool behind the counter where I sit. My neighbor comes by to talk sometimes when things are slow. We have been in this part of Patna for a long time. It isn't a modern supermarket with bright lights. It’s just Bronwala Miscillinious Store. Most days are spent just counting change or putting new stock out. If you are looking for something specific, you might have to dig around a bit. That is just how it is here. The door is usually left open to catch a breeze. It’s a simple life running a shop in Kadam Kuan.
