Petals Craft

If you’re around Boring Road in Patna, you’ll find us at 5D/11 in North S K Puri. We’ve got this little space called Petals Craft. It’s mostly filled with different types of handmade items and all the materials we use. It can get a bit messy with all the scraps, beads, and supplies lying around on the tables, but that’s just part of the process when you’re making things by hand. We aren't a big factory or anything like that. It’s just a few of us who like working with our hands. The neighborhood is fairly busy, but inside our shop, it’s usually just the sound of someone cutting or painting. We don’t really do big sales pitches or fancy displays. If people like what we make, they usually buy it and tell their friends. Sometimes we’re working on a big order and the whole floor is covered in stuff, making it hard to walk through the room. Patna gets quite hot in the summer, so we usually have the windows open to catch whatever breeze there is. It’s a very simple setup. We spend our days trying to get the details right on whatever project is on the table. It’s a quiet life mostly, just focusing on the crafts and making sure we have enough supplies for the next week. People stop by sometimes just to see what’s new on the shelves or to ask questions about our work.
