Mascot Soho Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd. is located over at 2-4 Deb Dut Mansion, Pandoi House, on Tarkeshwar Path. It’s one of those older buildings that has a lot of character, but the stairs can be a bit of a workout if you’re not used to them. We like being in this part of town because it feels like a real neighborhood. Our office is filled with maps and project plans spread across almost every flat surface. Infrastructure work takes a lot of planning and even more paperwork, so that’s basically what we do all day. We deal with a lot of different people, from government workers to local laborers, and it keeps things interesting. The street outside, Tarkeshwar Path, can get pretty congested, especially when there is a festival or a market day. We usually have the windows open to let some air in, which means we hear everything happening on the street. It’s a bit chaotic at times, but it’s an honest place to work. We don’t have a big sign out front or anything like that. People who need us usually know where to find us. We spend a lot of time talking about roads, pipes, and buildings. It is a steady grind, but we like seeing things actually get built. We just take it one day at a time and try to keep things organized. It keeps us quite busy most of the week.
