Our building is tucked away in Shiv Puri, just west of Professor Colony. Being so close to A.N. College means there are always students walking around the area. The office is named after Sri Rajendra Kumar Singh, and it’s a bit of an older structure. Inside, it’s mostly bookshelves and stacks of reports. We spend a lot of time reading and looking at data. Patna is a crowded place, but this little pocket of Shiv Puri stays relatively calm. We have some old wooden tables that have been here for decades. The light bulbs flick sometimes, giving the rooms a bit of a strange glow. We don’t have any fancy decorations, just some maps and charts pinned to the walls. People come here to do research or to look through our archives. It’s a quiet environment for the most part, though the noise from the main road occasionally drifts in. We make our own tea in the back and share snacks during the afternoon break. It isn't a high-tech place, but it gets the job done. We have a small courtyard where some of us sit when the weather is nice. Most of the staff has been here for a long time, so we all know each other’s habits. It’s just a place for study and work, right in the heart of Bihar. We keep things going one day at a time.
