If you’re looking for B S C Maths, you’ll have to head up to the 4th floor of the Gorakhnath Complex. It’s on East Boring Canal Road in Patna, right near the Lalita Hotel. The chairs are the basic plastic kind, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it works for what we need. We see a lot of the same faces every day, students coming in from different colleges around Patna. We try to be helpful when someone is stuck on a problem, but we don’t make any big promises. It’s just about putting in the hours. The tea stall downstairs is where most of us go during the breaks. It’s a very normal, everyday kind of place. We just focus on the numbers and try to help people pass their exams. There is always a stack of unsolved problems waiting on the desk.
