Ayodhya Lal Kalyan Niketan

Ayodhya Lal Kalyan Niketan is located in Village Sapha, near the Semara Bazar in the Gopalganj district of Bihar. Being out here in a rural area means things move a bit slower than in the big cities. We operate out of a modest building that’s easy to find if you’re heading via Nechuya Jalalpur. The surroundings are mostly fields and other houses. It’s a quiet place, except for the occasional tractor passing by or the sound of birds in the morning. We don’t have any fancy office furniture or air conditioning. It’s just a few rooms where we handle our daily tasks. Most people in the village know who we are, so we don't need a lot of signage. We spend a lot of time talking to the locals and managing the day-to-day needs of our operations. The electricity can be a bit spotty sometimes, especially during the monsoon season, so we’ve learned to work around that. We don't follow a strict corporate schedule; we just start when the sun is up and finish when the work is done. It’s a practical way of living and working. Sometimes the road to Semara Bazar gets a bit rough after a heavy rain, making it a challenge for visitors, but we’re used to it. We don’t have any marketing people or public relations staff. It’s just us doing what needs to be done for the community and our own upkeep. It’s honest work in a place we’ve called home for a long time.
