Avilay Coconut Technologies (Opc) Private Limited operates out of Flat No 407 in the Panchwati building, which is over in the Dinapur-Cum-Khagaul area of Patna. It’s a bit of a residential spot, so it doesn’t feel like a cold, corporate office at all. Being an OPC, which stands for a One Person Company, it is a small and very focused operation. We spend most of our time here in the 800011 area, working on technologies related to coconuts and how to process them better. It might sound like a strange thing to focus on in this part of Bihar, but we find it interesting and there is actually a lot of work to be done in the industry. The apartment is on the fourth floor, so we get a bit of a breeze when the windows are open, which is a nice relief during the hot and humid months. We have our desks set up in the main rooms, and it’s a quiet place to get things done without all the noise of the city center. Sometimes we have visitors for meetings, but mostly it’s just us handling the technical side of the coconut business. The Panchwati building is a decent enough place, though the elevator can be a bit moody sometimes and we have to take the stairs. We like it here because it feels like home, and that makes the long hours of research and planning easier to handle. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a big storefront or fancy signs. We just want to do our work and keep things moving.
