Aun Navdeep Nidhi Limited

Out here in Gulabbag, things move at a certain pace. We are located over at Uday Kr’s place, which is easy enough to find if you know the Barh area at all. Aun Navdeep Nidhi Limited is basically just a few of us sitting around a couple of tables with our ledgers. We don't spend money on fancy decorations or expensive chairs because that’s not what people come here for. They come because they know Uday and they know where to find us when they need to sort out their small savings or ask a question about their accounts. The office usually smells a bit like incense in the morning and old paper by the afternoon. We spend a lot of time just checking numbers and making sure every entry is correct. It can be tedious but it is what needs doing. Sometimes the neighbors pop in just to chat about what’s happening in the market, and we don't mind that. It keeps us connected to what is actually going on in Gulabbag. We aren't trying to be some giant bank with branches everywhere. We are just right here in Barh, doing our bit with the paperwork and helping the local folks manage their bits of money. It is a straightforward way to run a business. No complicated talk, just plain Hindi and English mixed together while we work through the daily tasks one by one.
