Our office is Shop Number 5 in the BP Villa Complex. If you know Patna, you know that Jamal Road and the Maurya Lok area stay pretty packed with people. It’s a central spot, which makes it easy for folks to find us, even if the traffic is a nightmare. The shop itself isn't very large. We’ve squeezed in a few desks and some filing cabinets to make it work. It feels a bit tight when more than three people are inside at once. Outside, the street is always humming with motorbikes and people walking to the shops. We get a lot of dust from the road, so we are always dusting off the computers and the ledgers. It’s a busy environment, very different from the rural offices. We have to be quick here because everyone in Patna is in a hurry. We don't have a lobby with magazines, just a bench for people to sit on. The building has seen better days, but it’s a solid place to work from. We start early to beat the worst of the heat and the noise. Most of the time, we are just heads down, working through the daily entries. It’s a very practical, no-nonsense kind of office. We are just a small team in the middle of a big, loud city, trying to keep things moving. We don't have any grand plans, just the daily work of running this shop.
