ASH Anand & Company

Our place, ASH Anand & Company, is located on Line No. 5, right on Human Path off Chandmari Road. We are quite close to T.P.S College, so we see a lot of students walking by every day. The building is an old one, but it stays cool in the summer which is nice. We have been working out of this spot for a few years now. It started as a small project and just kept going until it became a full-time thing. We have a lot of papers stacked up on the desks and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we have not found the time yet. There is always something more important to do, like checking the inventory or talking to the suppliers who come by. It is a family-run kind of setup. My uncle handles the accounts and I do mostly everything else. We do not have a big marketing budget or anything like that. We just rely on the fact that we have been here a long time and people know our faces. Sometimes the street gets a bit crowded with parked scooters, so you might have to walk a bit to get to the door. We usually have the tea kettle going in the afternoons if anyone wants to sit for a minute. It is not a corporate office, just a place where we work and try to stay out of trouble. Most days we are here from nine until the sun sets.
