Arohanam Nidhi Limited is situated in the Sharvan Complex at Chhoti Phadi. It’s a pretty easy spot to find because we are right in front of the Big Hospital at the Kumhar Toli Chauraha in Patna. Being near the hospital means there is always a lot of activity outside—ambulances, people rushing around, and street vendors selling snacks. Our office is a bit of a sanctuary from all that chaos. We have a simple space where we handle the daily tasks of the Nidhi. Most of our work involves sitting with the ledger books and talking to the people who walk in from the intersection. Because we are at such a busy chauraha, we get all sorts of people stopping by. We don't go in for anything fancy. The furniture is practical and the walls are covered with the necessary government certificates and calendars. We spend our time making sure every rupee is accounted for and that the paperwork is filed away where it belongs. It can be a bit cramped when several people come in at once, but we manage. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a posh office. We are just here to do the work that needs doing for our members.
