Aplomb Classes

We are over at A/7 in Sachibalay Colony, which is part of the Kankarbagh area in Patna. It’s a pretty decent spot, especially being so close to Kendriya Vidyalaya. You see the kids in their uniforms walking by every day, and it reminds us why we started Aplomb Classes in the first place. This part of Patna is always active. Our space is just a regular building where we set up some rooms for teaching. It’s not like those big institutes you see on TV with glass walls. We have some chalk dust on the floor and stacks of books that never seem to get smaller. I’ve been living in Patna for most of my life, and setting this up in Sachibalay Colony felt right because it’s a residential neighborhood where families actually live. We don’t have a fancy receptionist or a big waiting room. Usually, you just walk in and one of us will be there to talk. We spend our afternoons helping students with their lessons and making sure they don’t get overwhelmed by their schoolwork. It’s a simple routine. We drink a lot of chai and talk about the latest exam patterns. Some days are busier than others, especially when finals are coming up. We try to keep the atmosphere relaxed because the students are already stressed enough. It’s just a local place where we try to be useful to the neighborhood kids and their parents. We hope to stay at this A/7 address for many more years to come.
