We are located at Malti Niwas, right across from the HDFC ATM on the New Bypass Road in Anisabad. It’s a handy spot because everyone knows where the ATM is. We started this because we liked seeing how a few small changes can make a house feel a bit better. We have curtains, some wall hangings, and various bits and pieces for the home. The shop isn't huge, so we have to stack things up high sometimes. It’s a family-run kind of thing, mostly. We spend our mornings unpacking boxes and trying to find space for new items. Anisabad gets a lot of traffic, especially on the bypass road, so it can be a bit noisy outside, but inside we try to keep things orderly. We aren't interior designers with fancy degrees; we just know what looks decent and what people in the neighborhood usually like. Customers come in looking for a specific shade of blue or a rug that won't show dirt too easily. We talk to them, show them what’s in stock, and sometimes we have to tell them we’ve run out of something. It’s just the way it goes. We do our own lifting and cleaning. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s nice to see someone find something they like for their living room. We’ve been at Malti Niwas for a while now and we plan to stay right here and keep doing what we're doing every day.
