Akhand Jyoti Eye Hospital

Akhand Jyoti Eye Hospital is situated right down by Digha Ghat. It’s a place dedicated to eyes, and we stay pretty busy with that. People travel from all over the nearby areas because they’re having trouble seeing or need a surgery. The location at Digha Ghat is easy for locals to find, but it can get quite hectic with the amount of people coming and going. We don’t have much time for fancy talk or making the place look like a hotel. We focus on the eyes and getting people back to their daily lives. The rooms are basic, and we use what we have to get the job done. Often, the hallways are filled with people waiting their turn. It’s a lot of work, and the days are long, but it’s what we do. We don’t put up big advertisements or anything like that. Word of mouth usually brings people here. Some days the queue is out the door before we even open up. We just try to stay focused and help as many as we can before the sun goes down. It’s an old building, and it shows its age in some spots, but it serves its purpose for the community.
