We are set up over in Shiv Nagar, which is part of the Beur area in Khagaul, Patna. Our office is located at Ram Balak Pandit’s place. It’s a residential-feeling area, so it’s not as noisy as the main city center, which is nice for when we’re trying to focus on the numbers. Being in the 800002 area, we get people from all over the Beur and Khagaul neighborhoods coming in. Most of the people who walk in are people we’ve seen around the local shops. We handle things like small savings and loans for the members. It’s nothing too complex, just regular financial help for regular people. We have a couple of desks and some filing cabinets that have seen better days. Sometimes the street gets a bit muddy when it rains, making it a bit of a trek to get to the door, but people still come by. We like that it feels like a neighborly place. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. Word just spreads from one person to another. If someone needs help with their savings, they just tell their friend, and their friend tells them to come see us at Shiv Nagar. We try to be helpful and just do our jobs without making things more complicated than they need to be. It's just a small office for the community. It’s not flashy but it works. We’ve been here for a while now.
