If you know Bihar Sarif, you probably know the area near the tower. That’s where we are, at Ajad Foods And Beverages Private Limited. We’re set up at Surdarshan Kumar’s place in Niralarana Bigha. It’s a good spot in Nalanda, even if the traffic gets a bit much sometimes. We started this company because we wanted to be part of the food and beverage industry right here in our own town. We didn't see the point in going to a big city when we could do it from home. Our office is pretty basic, just a room with some desks and a lot of ledgers. We don't use fancy software or have a bunch of assistants running around. It’s a hands-on kind of business. Some days are slow and we just sit and talk, but most days we’re busy with orders and talking to people. Being near the tower makes it easy to give directions. We’ve lived in this part of Bihar for a long time, so we know how things work here. There’s no big secret to what we do. We just registered the private limited name and started working. It’s a lot of responsibility, especially with all the regulations, but we manage. We’re just local people trying to keep a small business going in 803101. It’s not always easy, but it’s our own thing and we’re proud of that. We plan to stay here for a long time.
