Adham Soda

Adham Soda is on Kadamkuan Road. If you know where the Buddha Murti is, then we are right near there in Patna. It is a good spot because people get thirsty walking around that part of Kadamkuan. I have the bottles lined up and the machine for the gas. Soda is one of those things that people just want when it’s hot outside. The shop isn’t very big, mostly just the counter and the crates. I keep a few chairs out front but they are usually taken. Sometimes the syrup gets on the floor and it’s a bit sticky until I can mop it up. It’s a loud place because of the traffic on Kadamkuan Road. I don’t have any fancy posters or big advertisements. The smell of the lime and the fizz is enough. Most people just stand around for a few minutes, drink their soda, and then move on with their day. It’s a simple business. We open when the sun comes up and stay until it’s dark.
