Adelik Flour And Spices Private Limited operates out of Vill Simra, in the Tolasimra area of Phulwarisarif. Dev Kant Kumar is the person you’ll find handling the day-to-day stuff here. We do two things mainly: flour and spices. The combination makes for a very interesting smell in our workspace. One minute you are smelling the earthy scent of wheat, and the next, a gust of ground chili or turmeric hits you and makes you sneeze. It is a small setup in the Suitha panchayat area. We don't have any fancy marketing people or a big sales team. Usually, it’s just us figuring out the best way to package things so they stay fresh. Phulwarisarif is a busy block, and we try to keep up with the pace as much as we can. The equipment we use is pretty standard, nothing too high-tech, but it gets the job done. We spend a lot of time cleaning the spice grinders because you don't want the flavors mixing up too much. It’s a lot of manual labor, moving heavy containers and making sure the proportions are right. We started this in Simra because we wanted to do something useful near home. Most of our days are spent in old clothes that are stained with spice colors, but we don't mind it. It’s just the way the work is here in our village.
