Western Watch Co.

We are located on the third floor of Meenakshi Towers on A.S. Char Street. It’s a busy building, and you have to walk up or take the lift to find Western Watch Co. inside units 21 and 22. It’s a bit quieter up here than it is down on the street. We’ve been working with watches for many years. Our benches are covered with tiny tools, magnifying glasses, and small parts that you can barely see with the naked eye. It takes a lot of patience to do this kind of work. Sometimes we spend hours just trying to get one small gear to sit right. It’s not a fast-paced business. We see a lot of regular customers who bring in pieces they’ve had for decades. The light in the workshop is very bright so we can see what we’re doing. We aren't into big advertising. Most people find us through word of mouth or by just knowing the building. It’s a small space, and we keep it as organized as we can, though there are always watch faces and straps lying around. We just enjoy the mechanical side of things. It’s satisfying to hear a watch start ticking again after it’s been dead for years. We just take it day by day, one repair at a time.
