Vacation Zone

Vacation Zone is a small shop in the MC Market. We are at Shop Number 19. It’s right near Shera Wala Gate, which is one of those spots in Patiala everyone recognizes. The market is always crowded with people buying things or just walking through to get somewhere else. Being at Shera Wala Gate means there is always noise from the traffic and the vendors shouting nearby. Our shop is just a regular place. We don’t have fancy decorations or anything. There’s a desk where we do all the work and some chairs for whoever stops by. We handle a lot of vacation planning, mostly just helping people figure out where they want to go. It’s a lot of talking and looking things up on the computer. Sometimes kids from the market run past the door. In the summer, the heat in the market is quite something, but we just keep the door open and keep working through it. We know the other shopkeepers around here and we talk to them during the slow times. It’s a friendly enough place to be. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We just do our job and go home at the end of the day. The Shera Wala Gate area has a lot of history, but to us, it’s just where we work every day. We’ve seen the market change over the years, but shop 19 stays pretty much the same.
