You can find Patiala Electricals out on Srihind Road, right across from the Hemkunt Service Station. We are also quite close to the Patiyala Hospital, which makes us easy to locate if you are in that part of town. Our shop is full of wires, bulbs, and all kinds of electrical components that people need for their houses or businesses. It is a bit cluttered inside because we try to keep a bit of everything on the shelves. Srihind Road can be quite a fast road, so you have to keep an eye out for the service station to know where to turn. We have been here for a good number of years now. Most mornings start with opening the shutters and dusting off the counters. The hospital nearby means there is always traffic and people walking past. We are just local people trying to run a decent shop. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to use candles or a torch until it comes back. It is just the way things go. We talk to the neighbors at the service station when it is slow. The work isn't glamorous but everyone needs a light fixed or a new switch at some point. If you see the Patiyala Hospital, you are basically there. We just keep the doors open and wait for whoever needs a bit of help with their wiring. It is a steady way to spend the day for us and we just keep going.
