Ch Cloth Store

Ch Cloth Store is basically run out of House No. -210. It’s right there in Dukh Nivaran Colony, just off Sirhind Road in Patiyala. Since it’s a house, it doesn’t look like a big warehouse or anything. We’ve turned some of the rooms into storage for the cloth. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze when new stock arrives. We spend a lot of time folding and unfolding fabric for people who stop by. The neighborhood is usually quiet, but we get people coming in from the main road quite a bit. Sometimes the shelves get a bit disorganized because we’re busy helping someone. It’s just a simple shop. We don’t have any fancy displays or bright lights. My family helps out a lot with the day-to-day things. We keep the inventory in the back rooms and try to keep track of what’s left on the rolls. Sometimes we lose the measuring tape or can't find the right color of thread right away. It’s just how it is when you’re working from a converted house. Patiyala has a lot of places like this. We’ve been here at number 210 for a long time now. We know most of the neighbors, and they know us. It’s a practical way to run a small business without all the extra costs of a big store. We just do our thing here and keep the house open for visitors.
