You can find us at Flat No.10 over in the N.S. Nis building in Moti Bagh. This is where all the planning and drawing happens. Working out of a flat makes the whole process feel a bit more personal and relaxed, I think. We do not have a giant studio with glass walls, just enough room for our drafting tables and a couple of computers. Most of the work involves a lot of back and forth with clients who have a general idea of what they want but are not quite sure how to make it real on a piece of land. Moti Bagh is a good area to be in, and it is pretty easy for people to drop by when they have a question. We spend a lot of time thinking about how the light hits a room or where a door should go so it does not hit a cupboard. It sounds simple when you say it, but it gets complicated very fast. We are not really into those over-the-top designs you see in glossy magazines. We prefer stuff that makes sense and does not cost a fortune for no good reason. There is usually coffee on the go because the days can get quite long when we are trying to finish a set of plans. Sometimes the printer acts up right when we need it most, which is frustrating, but we always find a way to get the job done.
