Sage Agrotech (Opc) Private Limited operates out of a house in Amalwa Colony. Specifically, it’s House No. 8. Being in Patiala, we are in a good spot for the type of work we do. It’s an (Opc) which means it's a one-person company, but there’s usually someone around to help out. The neighborhood is quiet, and the office is just a converted room in the house. It’s simple and doesn't have any of that corporate feel. We focus on agrotech solutions, which mostly means helping people figure out better ways to manage their farms using a bit of technology. We don't have a big marketing budget or a sales team. Most of our work comes from people hearing about us from others. We spend time on the computer looking at data and then going out into the fields to see how it actually works in real life. It’s a mix of office work and getting our boots dirty. Patiala-147001 is where we call home. We like the independence of being a small operation. There’s no boss in a faraway city telling us what to do. We just make decisions based on what makes sense for the farmers we work with. The house is always full of files and some old equipment, but we know where everything is. It’s not perfect, but it’s ours. We just keep working and trying to do a decent job every day. There’s always another problem to solve.
