We are located at 1005/9 on Thaseel Road in Samana. It is a small town, so things move a bit differently here than they do in the big cities. The road outside is often busy with local traffic, and it can get quite dusty when the wind picks up. Our office is a simple place where we have spent many years working on taxes and accounting. We don't have a big team or a fancy office setup. It is just a few of us and some desks covered in files and calculators. We deal with a lot of local people, from small shop owners to those who work in the nearby fields. They come in and we sit down to talk about their papers and what needs to be filed. There is no corporate talk here, just regular conversations about numbers and the local news. The building is older, and the power sometimes goes out, so we have to keep a flashlight or a backup ready just in case. We spend a lot of time checking and rechecking the ledger entries to make sure there are no mistakes. It is repetitive work, but it has to be done carefully. Most of the furniture has been here since we started, and it shows some wear. We like it that way because it feels familiar. It is just a quiet spot in Patiala where we get our work done day by day.
