Punjab Solar power plant

Punjab Solar power plant is what we call ourselves. We don’t have a specific office address listed here, but our work is mainly out in the open where the sun hits the hardest. Working with a power plant setup is a bit different than just putting a couple of panels on a house. It’s a lot more space and a lot more maintenance. We spend a lot of our days walking the rows, checking for dust on the glass or making sure the connections haven't been chewed on by some local animal. It’s quiet work for the most part, away from the noise of the city. You get used to the sound of the wind and the occasional hum from the electrical sheds. We aren't really the type for fancy meetings or polished presentations. We’re usually in boots and hats, trying to stay out of the direct heat while we get the maintenance done. It’s important work, keeping the power flowing, but it doesn't feel like anything special when you're doing it day in and day out. We just know our way around the modules and the grid. People think solar is set it and forget it, but it takes a bit of looking after. We stay busy with the technical side of things and making sure everything is efficient. It’s a steady pace of life out here, and we like the fact that we’re working with something as simple as sunlight. We just take it one day at a time.
