Pahuja Sumeet Architect

We’ve been operating out of Plot No.5D for a good number of years now. If you know the area, we are right across from house number 1908. The Sanatam Dharam Mandir is just down the road, which makes it easier to tell people how to find us. Sumeet handles the main architectural work and a couple of us help out with the rest. It’s a straightforward office. We don’t have fancy art on the walls, just a lot of blueprints and technical charts. Most of our day is spent looking at computer screens or going out to sites to make sure the walls are actually straight. It can be a bit of a headache dealing with all the regulations and paperwork, but it’s part of the job. We work on a lot of different projects, mostly houses for families nearby. We try to be realistic about what can be done with the space and the budget. There’s no point in drawing something that can’t be built. The tea stall nearby is where we spend our breaks, just taking a bit of a breather from the drawings. It’s a quiet enough spot to get things done without too much noise. We aren't a big flashy company. We just do our work, talk to the contractors, and try to get the buildings finished on time. It’s a living and we’re used to the routine of it all.
