Orbis Hospital

Orbis Hospital is located in New Lal Bagh Colony. We are on Rajpura Road, which is a fairly busy stretch of pavement. The bus stand is quite close, so there are always people walking past the building at all hours. Some of them are coming from the New Lal Bagh Colony and others are just passing through the area. The hospital itself is a straightforward place. We have the usual rooms and the staff who keep things running. It’s not a shiny new building, but it does what it needs to do for the people around here. You can see the buses pulling in and out from some of the windows on the upper floors. It gives the place a certain kind of energy. We spend a lot of time just managing the day-to-day tasks. There is always a lot of paperwork and people asking questions at the front desk. The nurses and doctors are usually moving pretty fast. We don't have a lot of time for sitting around. It gets a bit chaotic when several people arrive at once, but we manage to sort it out. Being near the bus stand means we get all kinds of folks coming in. We just take them as they come and try to get them sorted out. It’s a plain, honest kind of job we have here on Rajpura Road. Most of us have worked here for years.
