Nirmal Spices

You can find us at SCO 142 in the Firoz Gandhi Market. We are very close to the bus stand, which makes the whole area quite lively and a bit crowded at times. Since we deal with spices at Nirmal Spices, there is always a bit of a scent in the air around our shop. The market is a busy place where everyone knows everyone else. We open up the shutters every morning and start setting things out. Being near the bus stand means we see a lot of different people every day. Some are just passing through, and others have been coming to this market for years. Our space in SCO 142 is packed with bags and containers. It’s not the biggest place, but we make the most of the shelves we have. We spend a lot of time weighing things out and making sure the quality is what it should be. The noise from the buses and the shouting in the market is just part of the background for us now. We don't really notice it anymore. We keep our paperwork in a small corner desk and try to stay on top of the orders. It’s a lot of manual work, moving things around and talking to customers. We don't use any fancy systems, just the way we’ve always done it. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living, and we like being right in the thick of the market action.
