Narain Hospital

Our hospital is on Rajpura Road in the Sst Nagar neighborhood. It’s a decent-sized place, but it’s definitely not one of those huge city hospitals where you get lost in the hallways for hours. We have a few rooms for people who have to stay for a night or two, and the beds are basic but okay. The windows look out onto the street, so you can see the cars and bikes going by. It gets a little noisy during the day, but at night it settles down a bit. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone writing fancy brochures for us. Most people find us because they live nearby or their cousin told them we were here. We spend a lot of our day just making sure the supplies are stocked and the rooms are ready for the next person. The light in the hallway flickers sometimes, and we keep meaning to get the electrician to come out and fix it. The staff is just a group of regular folks who live around here. We drink a lot of coffee in the morning to get through the early shifts. There’s a small desk near the front where we keep the patient files. It’s mostly paper files because that’s what we’re used to using. It’s a practical place, and we do our work without any extra fluff or fancy machines we don't need.
