Munish Sharma Architect

Munish Sharma Architect is based at Kothi No.124 in Phase-I of Urban Estate. This is where all the actual work happens. It is a kothi, so it has that homey feel rather than a cold or formal office atmosphere. I have been set up here for quite some time now. Phase-I is a well-known part of Urban Estate, so people usually do not have much trouble finding the place once they get into the estate. Inside, it is mostly desks, computers, and a whole lot of paper. Architecture involves a lot of small details, and this is where I sit and sort them all out. I do not have a big staff working for me, so I handle most of the things myself. From the very first sketches to the final plans, it all gets done right here at Kothi No.124. Clients come by and we sit down in the front room to go over the drawings. It is a relaxed way to do business. I do not believe in having a flashy office; I would rather just put the effort into the actual drawings and plans. You might find some old blueprints or dusty models sitting on the shelves. It is a bit of a workspace in the true sense—not always tidy, but always productive. Working in Urban Estate means I am close to a lot of the sites I am currently working on. It is a straightforward setup that works for me. I am usually around during the day, just working through things.
